DESCRIPTION RATINGS & REVIEWS PRESCRIPTION GUIDE

The Lenton & Rusby LR5018 Eyeglasses deliver quality and style at a price that makes sense. Part of Altair Eyewear's budget-friendly collection, these women's rectangle frames prove you don't need to spend a fortune for durable, prescription-ready eyewear that looks professional.

Stainless Steel Construction Built to Last

These frames are made from stainless steel, a material prized for its resistance to corrosion, rust, and daily wear. The metal stays lightweight on your face—reducing pressure on your nose and ears during all-day wear—while maintaining the strength to handle your routine. Adjustable nose pads let you dial in a custom fit, and the single-bridge design keeps the look clean and modern. Available in two refined finishes, Rose Gold and Brown, the LR5018 brings subtle color to a classic rectangle shape.

Rectangle Frames for Round and Oval Faces

The rectangle shape works especially well if you have a round or oval face. The straighter lines add definition and balance softer features, giving you a polished, professional appearance that transitions easily from work to weekend. You get two size options—51mm and 53mm lens width—so you can choose the fit that matches your face. The full-rim design provides durability and works well with stronger prescriptions, as the frame edge helps conceal lens thickness.

These frames are prescription-ready and compatible with single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. Add your Rx, choose your lens upgrades, and you're set. At this price point, the LR5018 makes it easy to get a second pair or try a new style without the guilt.

Charged me $40 for overnight shipping to receive them 5 days later

Awful customer service. I paid $40 for overnight shipping because my son cannot see without his glasses for them to arrive five days later and the company refused to refund me my overnight shipping fee because they said that the item was not in stock when I ordered it, what I had to do with that I do not know, because they’re online system should’ve notified me that the item was out of stock, overall I would not recommend this company to anybody! Worst experience ever!

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Lenton & Rusby LR5018 eyeglasses prescription-ready?

Yes, the LR5018 frames are fully prescription-ready. They accept single-vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses. The full-rim stainless steel construction provides a sturdy base for your prescription lenses, and the frame works well even with stronger prescriptions since the rim helps conceal lens thickness.

What face shapes work best with rectangle eyeglasses?

Rectangle frames like the LR5018 are especially flattering for round and oval face shapes. The straighter lines and angular edges add definition and balance to softer facial features, creating a more structured, professional look. The wider-than-tall frame proportions help elongate round faces.

How durable are stainless steel eyeglass frames?

Stainless steel frames are highly durable and resistant to corrosion, rust, and tarnishing, making them a long-lasting choice for everyday eyewear. They can withstand daily wear and tear better than many other materials while maintaining their appearance over time. With proper care, stainless steel frames can last for years.

Are stainless steel frames comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes, stainless steel frames are surprisingly lightweight despite their strength, which reduces pressure on the nose and ears during extended wear. The LR5018 includes adjustable nose pads for a customized fit. Stainless steel is also hypoallergenic, making it a safe choice for those with sensitive skin or metal allergies.

What sizes are available for the LR5018?

The Lenton & Rusby LR5018 comes in two sizes: 51-17-135mm and 53-17-140mm. The first number is the lens width, the second is the bridge width, and the third is the temple length. The 51mm size suits smaller to medium faces, while the 53mm works for medium to larger faces.

What is Lenton & Rusby known for?

Lenton & Rusby is a proprietary brand of Altair Eyewear that creates budget-friendly frames with a minimalist design approach. The brand focuses on simple shapes, on-trend colors, and quality materials at accessible prices, targeting contemporary adults ages 18-55 who want stylish, functional eyewear without the premium price tag.
