Launched by the Haitian-American designer Victor Glemaud who initially worked for the fashion powerhouses like Tommy Hilfiger and Paco Rabanne before launching his namesake label in 2006, which was then rebranded in 2015 with the renewed aim of femme-focused output. Glemaud eyewear collection is all about a tailored fit made for women of color. It has sunglasses and optical frames featuring high fashion boldness, chic styles, and vibrant colors that complement deep and rich skin tones. This of course doesn’t take away the comfort – each frame has a wide nasal flare to prevent sinus pressure and gaping at the bridge, as well as deep nose pads to prevent slippage. The mid-set temples and a tailored lens depth provide for a bolder style that never hits the cheekbones.
